This was our first time there, and we will definitely make this our home restaurant! It was everything I thought it would be just from the pictures online! From walk in, to walk out it was very professional and the staff was amazingly beautiful! I got proposed to there and it was the perfect place for it to happen! Thank you so for such an amazing experience!!!

We love going to Schlesinger's for special occasions. I had the cowboy bone-in ribeye, and my wife had the pork chop. Both were amazing. Honestly one of the best steaks I have ever eaten! Service is attentive but not hurrried, and the atmosphere is great.

We had a wonderful lunch to celebrate my friend's 88th birthday. Nani was a courteous and helpful server. The food was delicious as usual.

We went for Sunday brunch and had a wonderful time! The food choices on the buffet were plentiful and very tasty! The dessert bar was exceptional! And the staff/the service was excellent!

We had such a good time with Rae. She made us feel comfortable and understood our snark which was nice. Our “snark” is kind and loving but a bit sarcastic and she totally ran with it. Our food was delicious and the service was sublime. Thank you!

We loved the experience, service and food. Before COVID we had gone to Schlesinger's Chop House frequently and loved it. We live in Virginia Beach and it is quite a drive to go there. In the past when we were in Newport News on family business we always ate at Schlesinger's. COVID came along and we were no longer in Newport News on family business any more. But we decided to return for my Birthday diner. It was well worth the hour long drive. Can't wait to go back.

I ordered a filet cooked medium. Upon receiving it I thought it was cooked correctly because it had a pink middle - the lighting in the restaurant is dark. After stating to eat the steak, I noticed the outside was burnt on the ends and the steak was tough. It was hard to chew and very difficult to cut. The worst part was during that Not, I got a terrible upset stomach. Not sure if they are buying low quality meat now. The server was pleasant but the meal was a big disappointment.

The group beside us were a little loud, thank goodness they didn't stay long after we arrived. Food, service, excellent as always. The lunch menu offers a lot for the price. I will definitely be back again.

Best steak. I had the 8oz Filet at medium and it was perfect. I clean my plate. Also had the scalloped potatoes, loved them. Paired with a nice wine which was excellent also. Service was great. I will be back sooner than later for another round. Maybe even try their Sunday Brunch.
