   Ambiance great sunset and ocean view beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful service really good, food was hood, was anniversary and server and staff went above and beyond

   Sea venture has become our go-to restaurant for all occasions and just for a spontaneous dinner out. It is consistently good for both food and drinks. This time, our server, Lucy, provided the usual friendly professional service.  there is an ocean view, and, if you go early enough, a sunset.

   Had to get up repeatedly to get the server. First to even greet us. Then for our drink order. She was very slow. Nearly 35 min before we got served. Severely understaffed. The food was mediocre at best. We have been coming here for nearly 16 years now and this had never happened. I hope it’s not a sign of a new era.

   Dining outside on the 3rd floor at the Sea Venture is always a treat. Watching the waves roll in, the sunset and the seagulls flying overhead while enjoying a drink makes for an enjoyable evening. As usual the food and service were on point. We will return

   Well, I got there at 4:15. I ordered right away and asked for some bread and butter. They gave me the smallest pieces of bread that were about a quarter of an inch thick with some butter that had honey in it so I asked for some more bread and regular butter, when he brought the butter out, it was frozen. I could barely cut it cut my finger. I didn’t say anything, but I wasn’t happy then 40 minutes later I asked where my food was because I thought two tables being served before me, but weren’t even there when I ordered, and he had some lame excuse about the steak took longer. The steak was about 2 inches in diameter. It was so small. It was the smallest I’ve ever gotten there when I ordered the steak and lobster and the lobster was the smallest I’ve ever had I’m gonna wait there for a while. I was not happy at all not to mention the fact that my blood sugar went down to 48 while I was sitting there for 40 minutes cause I had taken my insulin once I sat down at the table and it went way too low so I wasn’t happy

   It was our wedding anniversary and Sea Venture was a wonderful sunset dinner with great food, service (Jim & Sean). Sea Venture is very nice restaurant

    Don’t waste you time on other restaurants in Pismo Beach, Sea Venture is the best! You cannot beat the view, but the food is the very best in town.
