I recently dined at Serafina and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing overall. Service was inattentive—I had to ask for water twice before it arrived. The single, gender-neutral bathroom is located near the entrance, which in 20°F weather is far from ideal due to cold drafts. The food quality was subpar. Our appetizer of meatballs arrived at room temperature, and the bread was as hard as a rock. While the bread was improved after we asked for it to be replaced, the meatballs were still lukewarm. Additionally, the coffee, served before our cake, was also lukewarm, which detracted from what should have been a pleasant dessert experience. The only real benefit of dining here is its convenient location near the theaters. However, the lackluster service and inconsistent food quality make it difficult to recommend

We had a really poor experience at Serafina. I had a group of 7. We came at 3:15 on a Sunday. It was very quiet because there were two other tables besides ours. Our food came out quickly which was nice. But the appetizers came out with the main course. We never received the bread we asked for until the end of our meal. The bread had hard a as a rock and cold. We waited for Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes as well that we received when half the table had finished their meals. The portions are also incredibly small for the price. The service was the worst part. Our waitress never checked on us while we we were eating. She only stopped by to ask if we were ready for the check. We then asked for the bill and watched for almost 20 minutes as her and the rest of the staff are pizza in the kitchen while we waited. We had to ask a manager for the bill. Then we waited an additional 15 minutes for her to come back for the bill. She never came so the manager again took the check and gave it to her. She gave it back to us after she ran the card. Overall horrible experience. Very disappointed because the Serafina in Boston is absolutely amazing. Don’t waste the money.

Great dinner. They had trouble getting our table in time and sat us in the bar and gave us a discount on our meal. Food was delicious and service was great.

This had to be the loudest restaurant I have ever been in. You could hardly hear yourself think and conversation was almost impossible. Don’t know if it is always like this, but it was bad when we were there. Service was great, but food was just so-so.
