This location is “so-so”. The overall all feel is more like a chain restaurant like “Red Lobster”, not like others of the Serafins brand scattered around NYC. I’ve been to several of their other locations including their “flagship” location on the upper west side and there is a completely different vibe. This is definitely for NYC tourists going to diner before Broadway shows. It lacks the ambience and personal service of their other locations. I’m not impressed

The food was just OK nothing special. There was a. very loud party in the back room with lttle girls that was making way too much noise. We had to ask for everything atleast twice. Coffee did not come when the bar drinks came. One person had to wait while the others got there food.

This was my first time exploring the restaurant scene in New York, so when looking up places to check out, Serafina was one of the options that had excellent ratings and reviews. Upon going there myself, I can say that the reviews were 1000% right! The atmosphere was amazing, the service was top notch, and I was lucky enough to be sat near the pizza chef, so I was able to see him work in real time. The food itself was phenomenally good, and the wait staff was so incredible and willing to work with me on my dietary restriction (lactose intolerance, fun times!). And the raspberry sorbet??? It was, without a doubt, the best sorbet I've ever had in my life.
