Sfoglia is a lovely little trattoria residing on an unassuming stretch of the Upper East Side, across the street from the 92nd Street Y. Farmhouse tables topped with the season's produce are the appropriate setting for Sfoglia's country Italian fare. The private dining room tucked away upstairs can seat an intimate party of twelve.

Overall great experience. Went here for the prefix on vday. The ceasar salad was very yummy not too much dressing but the perfect amount. We also got the crispy oysters which were very flavorful. The entrees were the star of the show. I got the chicken and my boyfriend got the bolognese. I’ve never had a chicken so juicy and so much flavor. Definitely one of the better chickens I’ve had. The bolognese my boyfriend liked, but said my entree was better. We both got the smores for dessert and it was very flavorful. It’s a cute, quaint spot on the UES and highly recommend.

Once again, Sfoglia came through. Friendly staff, great food, great service. Perfect Ambiance. Johan and Michael run a terrific operation. Gnudi was very good. And, of course, the Caesar Salad and brick chicken are fabulous.

Our table was ready when we got there. It was beautiful and well located. We had an experienced server and the food was delicious and came out well paced.

Family Girls night out and it couldnt have been more perfect. The food was amazing. We had Gnudi, brussels sprouts, pasta and the bolognese. All superb. And in the lovely warm and quiet back dining room, we could easily enjoy adult girls conversation. Thank you all!

We went to dinner here for the first time the other night, and we are so happy we did! The restaurant has a very cozy, elegant ambience. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious. We got the flatbread to start, and then the chicken and pappardelle. The bread pudding dessert was to die for. We will most certainly be coming back!

Sfoglia has become my favorite restaurant - one perfect dinner and I’m totally smitten. The ambience, the service (which included excellent recommendations) and the food made for a a truly exceptional experience with wonderful friends. If I lived nearby, I’d be a regular.

Our server's demeanor could have been warmer, less cold. Interactions were awkward. The woman in the front giving coats was absolutely lovely.
