   The ribeye was excellent. As a New Yorker, I was quite pleased with the “American” steak house. Very comparable to NY steak houses back home.

   Lovely restaurant with old world ambience. A bar and lounge downstairs with lots of history. The food was delicious and the service impeccable.

   Portions are great. Had stakes which were dry and almost completely devoid of taste. Great venue and brilliant wine selection which we enjoyed very much. The starter of crab salad was tasteless but scallops were gorgeous. We were presented with a lovely loaf of bread soon after we were sat down which we enjoyed very much. The service was outstanding. The waiters were attentive and courteous. Overall a fair to good experience.

   Another wonderful evening at Shanahans. The best steaks in Dublin and great staff, professional and friendly. Definitely recommend. A little on the pricy side but worth it for the quality in my opinion.

   Overall experience was good. The website menu and prices are outdated, I asked the waiter about Chowder which is on the website, he responded that's gone months, as if everyone is regular there!! Steak's nice and all good until we went to pay.. the guy says.. voucher's 🙄.. yea cash vouchers that I bought last week..as if I got a gift of them. Annoying. I think 300 enough to pay for basically 2 steaks and chips 🤑 it was nice but he def took the edge off it. I think he's in that job too long and complacent!!

   Table and ambience was nice. The service was ok, but at times several of us needed support and staff was missing. I ordered a 2019 Barolo wine and and without advising me the waiter when questioned advised the 2019 wine will be the same as 2020? The food was so so. No guidance as to whether price went down or up ? Cheers Brendan

    A lovely evening, very attentive service and a lovely food, the steaks did not disappoint they were fabulous, tender, full of flavour and cooked to perfection..
