Shaw's Crab House is Chicagoland's Premier Seafood Restaurant. Reservations made for "Bar" seating will be for our casual Oyster Bar, reservations made for "Standard" seating will be in our more formal Main Dining Room and reservations made for our "Outdoor" will be on our patio.
All reservations are limited to 2 hours of dining.
Shaw's Crab House offers a unique dining experience focusing on seasonal fresh seafood, made to order sushi and our signature Alaskan King Crab Legs. Our reputation relies on quality ingredients prepared in a straight forward style, with crisp, professional service.

I hate to write this, but I believe everyone should be aware of the 3% surcharge on your bill for no apparent reason. I noticed it after hearing on a local news report that many local restaurants in the Chicagoland area have decided to adopt a 3% surcharge. We enjoyed our dining experience, but after the 20% tip and about 10% tax on the bill, another dubious 3% surcharge for who nows what is getting to be a bit over the top. I will have to rethink my return. The establishment should, at the very least, make the customer aware of all charges.

The food at Shaw’s just never disappoints. We live in Chicago and usually eat at the River North location but had a friend in town staying in Schaumburg. Great cocktails, food and decor. Excellent service. AND I made our reservation for the wrong day, but they were able to acccommodate us.

Unfortunately the halibut was overcooked. Everything else was great.

We had a wonderful first experience. We were celbrating our first wedding anniversary and wow!!! The foood was truly amazing!!! Everything was perfect. We coukd not have asked for a better expierence

Our server was very attentive and checked in periodically if we needed anything. We had delicious seafood dishes and the menu had variety of choices.
