   Brunch at Sheldon Inn is always wonderful because the food is of the highest quality restaurant in Elk Grove, rivaling Boulevard Bistro. We had the Farmer's Breakfast, which consists of two eggs as you like, sourdough toast, bacon, ham,, linguica, and breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions. Everything was wonderful except the toast -- Sheldon Inn really needs to upgrade its toast to buttered wheat toast as at Black Bear diner, instead of that hard, difficult to digest sourdough toast a(without butter) that they serve. I almost choked trying toi eat it and it tasted like week old bread to me. The rest of the breakfast is wonderful, except for this one item that Sheldon Inn management really needs to change. We sat at a table in the bar, which does make it a bit difficult to hear others at your table but it is a nice and warm environment. We could not get into the dining room because of the Valentine Day crowd and the courtyard, which is so lovely and needly magical in the summertime, was not really a consideration, given the cool temperatures and rainy weather, which will continue likely for three to four weeks. Allin all, a wonderful Elk Grove tradition that I recommend to everyone in the Sacramento - Stockton area.

   Great service great food! The filet was one of the best I've had.Only complain would be the website states 20.00 corkage fee but we were charged 25.00.

   The hostess was lovely and checked on us several times. The personalized menu was cute & the complimentary picture & printout was a pleasant surprise. Our server, Ron, was amazing. The food met my expectations. The ambiance was ok. It was a bit crowded for me, but overall I was satisfied.

   Great mid week “date night”, special Wednesday night dinner menu , they did not skimp on flavor, and service. Have been dining there over 30 yrs , always the best meals! We both had the salmon special! We will be back soon❤️

   I appreciated the customized menu for the birthday celebration. Our server also checked up on us often and made great recommendations. She was friendly and thoughtful. I really appreciated that our main entree was served all at the same time (and served hot might I add!) so that we may begin eating together. It was my first time here but will definitely be returning in the future.

   They are awesome we have been going to the Sheldon’s inn for years and never had anything. To complain about The food is outstanding and I have ate everything on there menu over the years They may be pricey but they give big portions and the quality and taste of there food is worth the price The service is excellent High class employees and the place is beautiful

    We ordered the Farmers Breakfast, Dungeness Crab Cake Benedict, 10oz. Ribeye, French toast, and the special for the day, Tri-tip burrito. All dishes were served in a timely manner with excellent preparation. We appreciate the accommodations that were provided as Calamari is one of our son’s favorite and they provided it during brunch even though it is on the dinner menu. All of the staff is exceptional. Friendly, attentive to the needs of the patrons, they even offer to take a birthday photo of the table for the special day.
