The location is amazing, waitstaff the same - outstanding! The drinks are great and the glassware -wow! However the food is just ok, nothing dazzling. The menus has changed a bit over the last 20+ years I’ve been going, but it’s not far from food you can make at home with a little extra time. I love SP-though I would love to see the menu take a risk or two.

We took our son out for lunch to celebrate an accomplishment he had achieved and we were not disappointed. The setting along the River overlooking the falls is one thing but exceptional service and delicious food and drinks are the icing on the cake! An outstanding selection of local beers on tap and an excellent wine selection as well. We had the Simon Pearce Reserve Cabernet and highly recommend it! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and are looking forward to our next one.

Our waiter was very knowledgeable and provided outstanding service with a kind attitude. Food was fantastic and the view of the frozen waterfall was breathtaking. We were not rushed and were made to feel comfortable and welcome.

Great food. Nice, family-friendly atmosphere in a beautiful historic building. Reasonable prices. Service was very good but could be a little more personable. Only complaint - really uncomfortable dining chairs.

The atmosphere of this place is top notch. Clean, efficient, beautiful views. That being said, the slightly higher prices cover all of those top notch amenities. The server was to the point, a little dry and did not introduce herself but she/the kitchen coursed our meal perfectly. We were there for lunch so we did the cheese plate (simple and yummy - maybe too much on the cracker and scone side for us if I am being picky), the shepherds pie was traditional, the perfect size, and very good (even for someone who isn't a huge fan of lamb), we also had the fish and chips - chips were crispy and well seasoned as was the fish, the only negative being that you could tell the oil was at it's end life as the breading did have a slight darkness to it and the taste came through a bit as well but other than that, will 100% dine again. Very glad we made reservations and would not attempt to go without them as this is clearly a very popular spot. Must check out the glass blowing area and the little deck downstairs before leaving to get the full experience.

We’ve been here several times before and plan on returning. The food is very good. We get the Cheddar soup regularly, and you can’t really go wrong with anything on the rest of the menu. Its a pretty big restaurant so it’s surprising the noise levels are pretty low. It’s easy to have a conversation. The staff is terrific, attentive, knowledgeable, and gracious. Make a reservation well in advance as it gets booked pretty quickly.

Got off the wait list for reservations. Very good food, lots of seafood options, not too many other options. Cheese plate was yummy!
