    The food was exquisite and the service was perfect. Every course was served right on time, and despite having a full house, the service staff seemed to give each diner special attention. As far as the food, we had the prime rib, the glazed sea bass, and the seafood trio, and everything was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!

    The views are not to be surpassed. The setting and the ambiance were great. Our server was personable and friendly and very attentive without being rushed or stressed. The food was great and there was a large wine list with some great choices. All in all a great experience.

    A very relaxing afternoon at Skates. A beautiful view, delicious brunch, and outstanding service from Jonathan, our server. All staff in the bar area were friendly and helpful, as was our hostess. We look forward to returning on Thanksgiving.

    Skates by the Bay has perfect placement on the bay to see downtown S.F. and the Golden Gate Bridge. With a sunset, you can be treated to an amazing event & fishing boats returning all while eating great food. Food is more centered on fish, which you cant go wrong on. I've been many times over 20 years. This time, unfortunately, I felt service and the bar had slipped a bit. We were left wondering where our waiter went, and why bar drinks were so poor. In the past, the bar and service were unwavering, so I'll give it a few more times.

    Good food and gorgeous view ! I had the open face crab melt sandwich and my sister had delicious fish and chips Service was good and all were friendly
