Soby’s New South Cuisine is an eclectic blend of contemporary continental cuisine infused with traditional Southern ingredients, transforming old favorites into something fresh and new. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, in a renovated cotton mill built in the 1800s. The atmosphere is warm and energetic and the staff is well-trained to provide a fantastic dining experience for all of our guests. In addition, the wine list offers more than 500 selections and is a Wine Spectator Magazine award-winner regular.

Cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Every entree and dessert was delicious! I cannot say enough good things about how wonderful our experience was! 10 out of 10!! I don’t think I’ve ever had a better meal. I had the Thanksgiving plate and my husband had the filet. Perfection….Will be back again soon!!

The braised beef short rib w/black truffle grits and greens was AMAZING! Not overpowered with truffle, just a nice flavor to raise the bar. Portion was huge. Starter of crispy Brussels sprouts w/honey, goat cheese, supurb. She crab soup can tend to be salty, but tonight was right on with a decent amount of crab. Dessert was divine of a cardamom panna cotta w/an apple filling. Very light, nice, and smooth texture similar to what I experience in Italy, but plated to raise the experience. Can’t go wrong at Soby’s! Jackie was a great server and had our meal nicely spread out and never felt rushed or wondering if next course was forgotten! Thanks for working Thanksgiving all!

As always excellent food ambiance and service. We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving meal together. She crab soup fried green tomatoes for a light meal. We’ll always be back

Always excellent! Soby's team is exceptional. We plan getaways to Greenville to visit Soby's and enjoy the food and service. Chloe took terrific care of us. The sommelier assisted us in picking the perfect wine to complement our meals. Chloe made the evening very enjoyable.

Soby's never disappoints! Our server Soup has been there 30 years and was a pleasure to have him take care of us on our 25th wedding anniversary! The short ribs were melt in your mouth delicious and the White Chocolate Banana Cream Pie was a perfect ending. The wine list has something for everyone! Don't pass up this Greenville icon!
