Soby’s New South Cuisine is an eclectic blend of contemporary continental cuisine infused with traditional Southern ingredients, transforming old favorites into something fresh and new. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, in a renovated cotton mill built in the 1800s. The atmosphere is warm and energetic and the staff is well-trained to provide a fantastic dining experience for all of our guests. In addition, the wine list offers more than 500 selections and is a Wine Spectator Magazine award-winner regular.

After having the She Crab soup a couple of weeks ago, I’ve thought of nothing else but returning for more! It’s just an incredible, perfectly-balanced dish. It’s truly one of the best things I’ve had! The service was also flawless! Our server knew every dish and special and answered our questions with ease. The Brussels appetizer is a can’t miss! Savory Brussels, salty ham, creamy whipped goat cheese and a drizzle of hot honey. I also ordered the chopped salad with chicken added. While the chicken was shockingly delicious, the salad was meh. Flavorless and boring. After being in Greenville only a month, Soby’s is at the top of my list for favorite restaurant!

We were seated upstairs in the back corner...then shoulder to shoulder with other strangers in the restaurant...Certainly not the ambiance that we came to pay Retail Prices for...Now if they had provided a booth as last time, then it would be worth the money. Most of the seating is undesirable....Just trying to Harvest too much sales, and delivering a low quality experience..

The food was excellent. We had the pork chop and crab cakes. The pinecone was a delicious treat. Our server, Stefan, was fun and knowledgeable! Fantastic night out!! Bring back the pork tenderloin!!

Server was very inattentive and had to get other servers multiple times to get attention. He very rarely would come check on the table. The food and atmosphere was excellent just wish service was better.
