   The food was fabulous and the service was great. The pasta is very fresh. We bought two pastas to share. The pasta with the braised beef is just the best. The Ricotta donuts for dessert are excellent.

   My wife and I absolutely love Sotto. One of if not the best restaurant in Cincinnati IMO. The homemade pastas here are incredible. Our go to's are the Cacio e Pepe and Capellaci. The Bistecca is always great as well. You will not be disappointed if you give this place a try. Staff and service is top notch.

   My fiancé and I were warmly greeted upon entry to Sotto. Our seat was unfortunately right next to a loud speaker which made it both hard to talk to each other and hear our server. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. You feel like you’re in a speak easy and each table has a candle lit. The waitress seemed annoyed when we said it was our first time though. It also seemed like she wasn’t taking our gluten allergy seriously as we had to ask multiple times what was okay to order to make sure there was no cross contamination. I was expecting a little more attention to this allergy based on what I read from other reviews. Regardless, the food that came out was extremely rich and delicious. Portions were bigger than I expected. Definitely worth the price. We will most likely revisit again!

   I brought my grandmother here for her birthday and it did not disappoint- the food was delicious and our server Molly was informative and knowledgeable. My grandmother absolutely loved it!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

   Walked in, I was greeted in a very professional manner by a nice man. I was then walked to a table with my date, and then served water by a server. After this a separate server was explaining the menu to us, and we were told the most popular items. After given some time we put our order in and received our appetizer in a very timely manner. Shortly after finishing that, we then got our entrees, both delicious and extremely fresh. I might even say that in my 18 years of living this is the best meal I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m not even joking. We were then given a box (food was boxed for us and I didn’t even realize because the server we had was so quick and efficient). After this we got donuts and affogato and again, I was pleased to discover the dessert was just as good as the meal. 10/10 experience, setting was amazing, food was delicious, service was exemplary. Will definitely be back.

    The first thing is the poorly lighted stairs descending into the restaurant. I do not think they are safe for anyone, especially seniors. I can not believe no one has fallen and sued the restaurant. I admit I forgot there is an elevator in Boca. I should have used the elevator. The entire restaurant is like a cave. The candle on each table could be larger to supply more light. I had to use my phone light to read the menu. I saw many seniors dining at the same time that seemed to struggle with the low lighting. The lack of proper lighting is a real issue for me and does prevent me from dining more often at Sotto’s. Our waitress, Michelle, was amazing and the food delicious. Perhaps I should order take out rather than dining in.
