While the service was good, the menu is smaller than I remember and the food was just okay. The fried Gouda Fritters used to be my favorite thing on the menu, but this time they were not a flavorful and they were drowned in sauce. Literally drenched and pooled in the plate. The she crab soup was delicious. The old fashioned were really good. The pear apple salad was missing pears and I was given a butter knife to cut the full leaves of lettuce and the added chicken. I expected more chicken for a $10 up charge. It wasn’t even a quarter of a breast size. My date did not like the grits, but did not complain. Overall, it was a mediocre experience.

The staff were very friendly, service was quick, food was upscale southern, and the ambience was perfect for a quiet family meal or romantic date.

Would’ve gotten 5 stars but it’s tacky to charge $2.79 to pay via QR code. Either offer it for free or don’t offer it.

First time eating/ordering Thanksgiving dinner for pickup and I must say the food was quite tasty and delicious! Order pickup was well organized, accurate and timely. Heating instructions provided were easy to follow and accurate. Food portions as described were accurate with definitely enough for another complete and filling serving. Would I order again for another occasion…..ABSOLUTELY YES!! Thanks South City Kitchen of Vinings, you did not disappoint!😉

This was definitely one of my best experiences yet! It was a huge improvement compared to my last visit. Your waitress- Taeja’s service made all the difference—her knowledge of the menu and expertise with Fifth Group really stood out. We’ll definitely be back to celebrate more special occasions!
