   With close friends…beautiful patio in the evening…food devine (duck!!!)…and service beyond perfect (thank you Simon!!)…nowhere better..,fans for 20 years!!!!!

   We had lunch today at Spencers. It was fabulous! We chose the luncheon offer which included salad or soup (we had one of each and both were absolutely delicious!), followed with an entree of steak with loaded baked potato (was good) and white fish over mashed potatoes and spinach (delightful) followed with an upside down pineapple cake which was truly melting in our mouths. This also included our drinks of coffee and ice tea. Not only was the food excellent, the prices were very resonable for today, especially the luncheon special menu which is what we had above. Service was excellent. The only problem we had was two men sitting behind our table who were way too loud! They made our conversations difficult. Otherwise - highly recommended!!

   We've been coming here for special occasions for many years. It doesn't change much from year to year and that is a good thing. Sit outside if you can, it makes for a very pleasant dining experience. Iconic Palm Springs venue, certainly not cheap but you surely get what you pay for here, well worth a visit.

   As always, our dining experience at Spencers was outstanding. We were seated right away. Although we were outside there were plenty of heaters and it was very comfortable. I ask for a modification of my meal and they accommodated beyond my expectations and I was so appreciative. The entire evening's experience was outstanding. We will be back and always recommend Spencers to friends and family visiting the Palm Springs area.

   For our Ladies Birthday Lunch today we were thrilled with the large selection of interesting salads. Each one we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. Thank you for the complimentary birthday treats and the wonderful service. We had a lovely time!

   Our first (and last) time, we had 3 apps, an entree, and a bottle of wine: Calamari- a little chewy and drowning in sauce. Did not taste fresh. Did not finish. Tuna tartar - came with only 2 wontons and then charged $2.50 when we requested more. Not fishy, but not great, either. Did not finish. Wedge salad- wedge was pre-sliced? Defeats the purpose of ordering a wedge salad. Candied pecans were tasty, but way too large and should have been chopped into smaller pieces. Finished the salad. 3/5 Mushroom risotto entree with shrimp- risotto was good, the cheese was not mixed in so it was a little chunky until it melted. Finished the risotto 4/5 Entree was served while we were only half way through our 3 apps, so we had to shuffle plates to prioritize the hot food. Bread and butter were DELICIOUS 5/5 Setting was nice. Waiter could not care less. Pass if in town again.

   Prix-fix lunch is almost always perfect, & we dine here for lunch at least once a week. Food is reliably fresh & tasty, & the $31 set price includes soup or salad, dessert, coffee/tea, & bread. Service always comes with a friendly smile & is professional especially Lilliam, Michelle, & Alex. Highly recommended. Sit outdoors in the tree room; it's smart to reserve for lunch.

    Spencer’s is by far the most consistent restaurant in Palm Springs. The fine food and superb service makes me a regular customer.
