I have eaten at Spencer’s more than a dozen times over the last 20 years and was excited to go back. What a disappointment. From the surly hostess to the entrees that came while we were only part way through our appetizers and were mediocre at best, the entire meal was disappointing. Spencer’s appears to have turned itself into a Cheesecake Factory with a stiff price tag. I won’t be going back.

We had a great experience for our first visit. Delicious food, great service and a beautiful atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Went for Sunday brunch and ordered lobster eggs Benedict. Poached eggs were overcooked. Service was very slow, although the restaurant was super busy. A little noisy, but to be expected at that time of day.

Had such high hopes for this brunch. Awkward seating service. Fingerling potatoes tasted unwashed. Refilled my soda twice with tea! Server could have been a bit more attentive. Will try again in hopes the experience is better.

Our dinner was excellent. The wine, bread, appetizers and main course (Dover sole) were well prepared and tasty. The best part of dinner was the service. Although the restaurant was packed and we were seated a bit late, we never felt rushed. Our waiter was delightful and most certainly added the perfect touch to our dining experience. We were first timers but will most certainly be back!

Wonderful food with large portions. Duck skin and fat cap could have been rendered better but the breas was well cooked. Meatloaf was huge, risotto was balanced and the short ribs were the best ever wonderful service Very loud dining room was my pet peeve.
