   We celebrated a birthday with 8 woman . Had a perfect lunch . Food was delicious and the service above the top . Pedro was a fabulous server , even sprinkled gold sugar on our cake slices . (We brought out own) parking was easy also . Thank you !

   They just reopened after renovation and we were eager to eat there. There were 3 of us and our guest had a good meal of lobster bisque and scallops. My husband had risotto that was merely ok and my halibut was not good. The fish was fresh but it was covered (and it seemed infused) with a thick-ish creamy and completely bland white sauce. It would have been better sauceless with a few drops of lemon juice. Splashes is very pricey so one expects more of the food. But we all enjoyed the gorgeous sunset.

   Four of us had an incredible dining experience at Splashes on 6/6/24. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. All four of us had halibut and it was excellent. The lobster bisque was also amazing. They had an extensive wine list and our server gave us an excellent suggestion that was reasonably priced. Delicious desserts too. The renovated dining room is beautiful, but if I had one complaint it was the dining room a bit loud. It was a little difficult to hear table talk occasionally and the dining room was only half full. Even with the noise, we’d all highly recommend!

   Food was excellent, view terrific and service delivered by Pedro very attentive. The room was fresh and light. It is a pricey restaurant. However, it is ludicrous to assume that one would receive any particular value for an exquisite beach restaurant in Laguna -- lunch for four (4) people was $500 with house wine. Definitely an expense account only sort of place. Major improvement from previous visits when the restaurant had basically become a grossly overpriced tourist clip joint. The room was noisy which was an unexpected annoyance for a business lunch. Difficult to hear my guests and talk over the din. The room needs noise baffling on the ceiling. Other patrons were a mix of tourists, local ladies-that-do-lunch and some other business types; some in suits. I would say the recent renovation for the restaurant is a success.

   We had a “birthday” lunch there today. We agreed that the food was exceptional - best food I have had in ages. Gorgeous ocean views, wonderful waiters and the chef is 5 star!

   The newly remodeled Surf and Sand Hotel is lovely. Lighter, brighter, beautiful new common areas. Splashes is updated, with a gorgeous Chihuly glass sculpture in the main dining room. Patio areas have new, very comfy seating. Great job on the renovation. Honestly, I found the menu to be very trendy. The food was good, not great, and the prices were high but not ridiculous. Nothing on the menu that would compel me to return right away. As always, the service is excellent. If you are less about the food and more about the views, comfort, ambiance, and service, Splashes is a good choice.

   Service was fantastic. The view unbeatable. The food was secondary to the view but still great nonetheless.

    We were celebrating our 10th anniversary and we couldn`t have selected a better place to be! Very quiet and sophisticated, the food, the service, everything was amazing. Can`t recommend it enough!!!
