   This was our first visit to this spot. Pros Beautiful ocean view, friendly staff, nice original art work,salad wad delish and creative and our John Dory was tasty.. though charged $8.00 for a shared entree Cons The restaurant has only hard surfaces so nothing to absorb the noise. Even table clothes would help! It is a smaller more intimate room so as the number of diners increased the noise level found people speaking to each other in raised voices so by the end of dinner the head of house could not even hear me make a comment about the loud dining room!! That tells you something! The young green bean were not so young .. after commenting we were not charged…and the crème brûlée was not the proper texture. Too bad because the spot is lovely and most of the food good but the noise level will keep us from returning

   The food was outstanding. The service was exceptional. We had a great time. We will be coming back for sure. Thank you very much for making my wife’s birthday really special.

   The newly remodeled Splashes is beautiful. We loved the more Contemporary look. My husband had the breakfast burrito, and he added chicken in place of the chorizo, and it was delicious. I had the avocado toast, and the egg was cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed the alfalfa sprouts. Alberto and his assistant were both professionals and personable. We live locally, and this will be one of our regular brunch spots.

   Sadly, the last two dining experiences were very disappointing. The food just is not good! I will not be returning. it is a shame, as it used to be one of my favorite restaurants to bring out of town guest to. Location is the best! Thank you

   This was a Top Five dinner experience from start to finish. Our waiter, Patrick, was an absolute delight! He was so knowledgeable and interesting that we wanted to invite him to sit with us during dinner! But, the entire wait staff and hostesses were friendly, attentive, and on-the-spot. The ambiance and service was equaled, if not surpassed, by the incredibly delicious, perfectly prepared, and luxuriously presented food. We had the sourdough bread, crisp spanish octopus, muscovy duck, and divers bristol scallops - each were undeniably not to be missed! Finally, the beautiful view of Laguna Beach and the waves crashing on shore in the fading evening light brought the entire night together into one unforgettable affair. Do not pass up the opportunity to enjoy this unique gem tucked away in a boutique hotel in the Riviera of the Pacific Coast.

   We were celebrating our anniversary. Everyone was so kind and made us feel incredibly special. Amazing service by everyone but especially our waiter Patrick who treated us like royalty. Food was delicious and ocean view is spectacular.

   Lunch was perfect! Don’t miss out on the lobster bisque. The flat bread was delicious, perfect crust. The view of the ocean was breathtaking. Kim was our server. She was wonderful.

   We've been bringing friends and family to splashes for a few decades. The remodeling is nice...seating with strangers next to you a little tight and uncomfortable.. We ended with cappuccino. We should of spoke up however didnt have time for a remake. It was very cold cappucino as though they just removed it from sitting out for an hour. Probably shouldn't have paid for that. The staff friendly and attentive.

    Food and service were amazing! The acoustics in the restaurant inside made for a very loud environment, and it was difficult to hear one another ….
