Unbelievable attentive staff. Our server and the manager went out of their way to accommodate my food allergies. They made our Thanksgiving dinner great!

Family friendly restaurant. We went for Thanksgiving dinner at St.Bernard and enjoyed the experience and food. It was a quaint restaurant close to the slopes with a warm fireplace and friendly service! The turkey and pumpkin pie was exceptional!

We selected this restaurant for a beautiful view and ambiance for our Thanksgiving Dinner. They seated part of our party ahead of our reservation time and allowed them to go ahead and start the appetizer course before the whole party had arrived. That started things off on the wrong foot. The appetizer course was a charcuterie spread, which was nice, but there were no crackers or baguette slices to put the meats, cheese and spreads on so we grabbed some of the rolls over by the soup which probably could have been very good, but was on the edge of room temperature and so the flavors kind of fell flat. The main course was really very good, turkey moist, wonderful cranberry sauce, stuffing good flavor, but too wet. We were provided water glasses and a liter of water with no ice to serve ourselves, however, the waiter never took a drink order and never picked up the menus from the table. Dessert was a big disappointment. Apple or Pumpkin pie that were clearly not fresh baked. The pie crusts appeared to have been the frozen variety, almost not enough there to taste. Pumpkin pie was bland. They would not warm the apple pie. No one finished their pie. To our surprise, the chocolate cake was a flourless kind, more on the bitter-side of chocolate and was about a 1/2" tall by 1" wide piece. Also, if you wanted ice cream with your pie there was a $3 upcharge for one scoop of ice cream. Overall, we did love the location and the view, but the food and the service were just average for a Thanksgiving Dinner for which we paid high $$.

They had difficulty handling the Traditional Thanksgiving meal. Perhaps their regular menu service would be better. As a former restaurant owner I understand the difficulty of doing a banquet style meal when usual trade is á la carte.

The service was great. They were very accommodating especially with my food allergies. The environment was beautiful. Nice place. Unfortunately the food was only OK. The short rib was a little tough and chewy, and the chicken breast was significantly overdone and tough / chewy. I'm sure of that because we went down to the valley the next night and had the same things elsewhere. The other restaurant did a much better job (and the dish was $13 (34%) cheaper. I understand the high cost of operating up at a resort, so I'm not attacking the price -- but for the price, the food has to be better. When you charge $38 for a grilled breast of chicken with mash potatoes, you have to get it right. Sorry, but I'm not sorry for saying that.

Only came here for the Valentines day specials.... show up, get seated, handed menus, and TALKED to about the specials for the night. to then 15 minutes later i try to order the steak and salmon that are the specials, that i was just pitched. To then being told that they have been out for both options for awhile now.... Why hand me the separate menus? Why pitch it to me when i sit down. And again the only reason i was coming here in the first place was for the steak.... for sure put a massive setback in what was supposed to be a nice valentines day dinner. let alone severely undercooked the Elk...
