    We waited over 1.5 hours between courses. Order was wrong- forgot an entree potatoes not cooked through. For$200 per plate I expect more!

    I should qualify, the bar area was very noisy but we wanted the outdoor view. They accomodated moving us to the dining area. Courtney gave very kind and informative menue options and great service.

    Food was underwhelming, had a better French onion soup on my last carnival cruise. Ended up waking up to sit in the bathroom for an hour at 1am. Overly pretentious and super overpriced whiskey and wine list.

    This was an extravagant birthday celebration that was worth every penny (and a night of impacted sleep for unusually rich food for me). Stake Chophouse has an impressive attention to detail!

    Wait staff was professional and friendly. French onion soup was delicious. Eye of rib was chewy. Halibut was dry. Dessert was delicious. Not a place for an intimate dinner - too noisy.

    We ordered a wedge salad, Filet Mignon, and Liberty Duck Breast, and Gratin potatoes. The food was very good. But it was way overpriced for what you get. We were sat at a table on the side of the bar, which was a little loud, but also close to other tables. Our waiter was very good through the dinner service, but then he said goodnight and passed us on to another waiter. It took 15 minutes to clear our plates. They dropped the ball at that point. Not worth the money in my opinion.

    Phenomenal experience. Bryan rocked as our server. The food was exquisite. From the presentation of the meat choices to choosing your weapon -knife selection. After dinner drinks were superb. Thank you so very much for making this memory so special.

    Great service and ambiance. Very enjoyable evening. At these prices, the food needs to be outstanding and it just wasn’t. Outside of steak had char (not a good sear crust) that made it bitter. It was under seasoned (needed more salt). Inside of steak was room temp, not hot. It had clearly been cooked earlier and seared when we came in. It was ordered med rare so it should have been 130ish inside. It was prob 80 degrees max. Bread was ok. The food was really good overall, just not good enough to justify the price. A $100 steak should be pretty close to perfect.

    I do NOT recommend going to this restaurant. It cost over $500 for 2 people. I made a reservation for my husband’s birthday. When we walked in we were asked and I confirmed it was my husband’s birthday. Later we found out that they were supposed to give him a card for his birthday. We waited 20 minutes at our table with our menus closed and had to flag someone down to get service. There were only 2 other tables occupied so it wasn’t busy. We were told that we were waiting on someone. I said no it’s just the two of us. Then they told us we were waiting on Ziggy (our waiter). The other waiter said he would get us started. He was our waiter the whole night because Ziggy never came. During most of the meal, my husband could hear a couple of people talking in the bar area. When we got up to leave we looked around and it was two employees. My husband asked if they knew who Ziggy was. The one guy said it was him. As we left my husband said that was the voice he had heard talking the whole time. There were no customers in the bar area. The food was amazing but overshadowed by poor service. The chef prepared a tiny bite as an appetizer. I didn’t care for it. It looked like a meatball and tasted like mushrooms. We had the caviar donuts. They were excellent. I had the filet and a side of scallops. My husband had the 14 oz. Full-blooded Wagyu steak($161). We got the asparagus as our side to share. It was laid atop hollandaise sauce which was perfect. It wasn’t swimming in sauce which I can’t stand. I had the crème brûlée. Very traditional and nothing special about it. I wouldn’t recommend. My husband had the blueberry bread pudding. It was delicious. At this price I expected better service.
