   Soup was delicious, salad was fresh, pasta definitely al dente, complementary bread was tasty and well paired with entrees. Fire place burning , table decorated with fresh flowers and candle light was romantic.

   We were looking for a warmly comfortable restaurant to take our friends from Virginia out for a fine dinner in a space that was quiet enough accommodate to relaxed conversation in our normal voices. Starry Night Cafe worked out delightfully on a November Sunday evening, with a fire in the hearth on one side of an octagonal room and the occupied tables around the perimeter, so it was quite quiet for easy conversation. The food was outstanding, well prepared, and delicious - everyone was very happy with their menu choices. This will be our go-to place the next time we have out-of-town guests.

   Probably had not been to Starry Night in 9 years. We were pleasantly surprised with our delicious meal: fresh pasta (spinach Mafaldine), homemade flat bread and prime picanha meal. It was worth the 45 minute drive. We can’t wait to go back!

   As usual, we had an outstanding dinner last night. Starting with beautifully prepared cocktails, we transitioned to the Kale Caesar salad which is the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. It has actually made my husband reconsider kale entirely. We each finished our meal with house made pastas, mine bucatini Cacio y Pepe with guanciale, my husband had the Spinach Malfadine with mushroom ragu. Both were excellent. I will also mention the Steak Tartare appetizer that one of our companions raves about and said he orders it whenever it’s on the menu. Throughout our meal we were lucky enough to have Leslie as our server. As always, she was delightful, attentive and well-informed. A true gem. Thank you, Leslie.

   Must have been an off night for menu. Only two choices. Chichen leg with thigh or Cod. Salad and appetizers were very good. Service was outstanding. We only had water to drink . No alcohol. $220 with 20% tip for two. Would have been over $300 if we ordered wine.

    We eat here often and it just gets better and better. We had the aged Duck Brest, it was as good as it gets. Great desert too. Staff is fantastic, friendly and professional.
