    This year we’ve made some big changes at Steel & Rye! Our former private dining area is now home to our new bakery kitchen. We have loved hosting private events in the past, however no longer have a private space to offer. At this time, we are pleased to offer regular dining reservations for groups of up to 18 guests. Please call our main line at 617-690-2787 and speak with one of our managers or email us at contact@steelandrye.com to make a reservation for parties between 12-18 guests.

    Our surprise was to find out the pizza over was damaged and they are working to repair it so we couldn’t satisfy our craving of your famous Hood fire pizza. The service and food it never disappoint.

    service was very good, the items we had were good too but very limited menu, especially the entrees. if you dont eat meat and the one fish option is not to your liking you are pretty much out of luck and cant order an entree.

    Always wonderful service. The hostess was so great getting us the perfect table. Bar so attentive and waitstaff so friendly and knowledgeable.

    We’ve come several times and always had a good experience. Most recently, we came with family to celebrate a big professional accomplishment of my husband’s, and the team surprised us each with a complementary glass of rose wine (and a mocktail for me)! Always amazing service and so kind to our little kids too.

    Food was very good. We had the cod which was great. Octopus was also very good. Staff was great. Great place to go!
