   The food was amazing! Calamari was very tender and delicious. My son had the NY strip steak which he said was fabulous and I had a Ceasar salad with the yeast rolls, both of which were very good. The only disappointment was the service as it was very slow and they were not that busy. Aside from that it was a great meal and we would return.

   This was our second visit to Stroubes and it was another great experience! The steaks and seafood were cooked perfectly, our server Carly was amazing and she took excellent care of us. We will be making this a regular stop when visiting Baton Rouge!

   Absolutely phenomenal! The food was nothing short of amazing as usual. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection, the calamari was delicious and the drinks were outstanding.

   Dinner was Ora King Salmon with caper beurre blanc served atop julienned summer vegetables. The salmon was delicious and the vegetables were crisp and fresh.

   I’ve been here a few times, never disappointed. Once for lunch, had the BLT, and it was great. This past time I was at dinner on a Monday. We got there at 4, when they opened, so it was quiet and personal for a bit, but was never loud or crowded when others came. The food was phenomenal. Get the tenderloin carpaccio as a starter, you won’t regret that! We had the grilled redfish and the duck Louisiana, both were phenomenal. Pricing was spot on for what you were getting. The portions were not skimpy. Their chef is obviously worth every penny. We did not have room for dessert, but had we, I think the crème brûlée would have been it. We had a cocktail and noted the price was less than the hotel bar where we were staying, that’s always a plus! Carleigh was our waitstaff and she was outstanding. She knows the menu and was very attentive. We will definitely be back when downtown Baton Rouge.

   Everything this was nice food was amazing. Only complaint was they had a party of women next to us was loud and talking loudly which Ik has nothing to do with the restaurant itself but that was the only complaint I had for my experience.

    Wanted somewhere to take wife for her birthday. Tried this place and was highly impressed and satisfied. Drinks were awesome. I was very surprised how seasoned the food was, extremely surprised. Most higher end places food have presentation not flavor but they have both. Made me like lamb now..lol. All in all we loved this place and are planning on another visit to try some other appealing things we seen on the menu.....DEFINITELY A GOOD CHOICE....
