Despite the place being exceptionally busy the staff were welcoming as usual and we were served our meal quite quickly.
The roast lunch was excellent with a very good selection of vegetables.
We have never had a bad meal at the Sugarbeat and are always welcomed with a smile!!
Well done to ALL staff and we shall be back!!

This was our second visit. Our first a few months ago was excellent, we had perfectly cooked soft scrambled eggs on quality hand cut and buttered toast. This time the scrambled eggs couldn't have been more different. The poorest quality sliced white bread I have ever eaten, not toasted, it didn't have any toast colour, no sign of butter, and the scrambled eggs were over scrambled, dry and luke warm. Absolutely awful.
The staff serving were polite and did their job well and I cant fault that.
I find it hard to understand how the standard of food can change that much in a few months.
I did not send the food back because if the chef thought that was acceptable then I doubt it would have come back any different. Its hard to believe scrambled eggs on toast could be that poor

Joanne,
Thank you for your honest feedback & thank you for taking my call.
I have fed your comments back to our kitchen team about not only the cooking process that you were served but also the quality of the raw ingredients that were used.
We would of been more than happy to rectify this issue if we were given the opportunity but can appreciate your reluctance to bring your dissatisfaction to our attention.
We regrettably understand this has put you off from joining again, for which we sincerely apologise for.
Ensuring you our best intentions always.

Great place to choose for a Sunday Roast. The back section of the restaurant was quieter than the main areas, which was perfect! Food was excellent and the Waiting staff were all friendly and efficient. Looking forward to our next visit.

The food was lovely but very disappointing on the starters. We ordered the Bao buns and the onions bhaji to share between 4 people but was disappointed when only two of each was brought out. There was no indication in the menu that there would be only two of each. We paid almost ÂŁ10 for the Bao buns and ÂŁ8 for the onion bhajis which is extremely expensive for the little food we got.
