I was looking for something a little off the beaten path for a Christmas dinner for one and came across Le Bouquet on Open Table. French-Japanese fusion sounded intriguing and I was not disappointed—it was fantastic. Very clever combination of two unique cuisine styles. The food was beautifully prepared, steaming hot, and super delicious. They had a pre-fixe menu for Christmas, so not sure what’s on the normal menu, but again, I was very pleased. Wine menu was good and varied but not so much as to be overwhelming. Service was quick and attentive but not overbearing and the staff spoke German and English (menu was German only, so brush up on your reading skills if you’re not German). About a 10 minute uphill walk from Schwabstrasse S-Bahn station. 3 course menu with amuse bouche and endless bread, plus wine, water, aperitif, and a starter was a very reasonable €109. I’ll be a repeat customer!

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend mit hervorragendem Essen, einer sehr guten Weinauswahl und einem sehr aufmerksamen Service. Alles war stimmend und das Menu voller lauter Highlights. Wir hatten die Special Vorspeise, die nicht auf der Karte war ( Muscheln mit Pommes. Eine wahnsinnig gute Kombination) sowie einen herrlichen Hauptgang sowie ein sehr leckeres Dessert. Schön, dass es wieder so ein tolles Restaurant in Stuttgart gibt

Das Essen war sehr gut und die Karte mit Naturweinen gefällt uns auch super. Der ausgewählte Grauburgunder aus dem Elsass war die Krönung des von uns gewählten Menüs. Die Atmosphäre war ruhig und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Abend und es freut uns, dass man sich hier traut ein anderes und spannendes Konzept zu verwirklichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

French cuisine with a Japanese touch. Le Bouquet is the new French bistro run by the owners of Hiro in the same space. I came across this spot on Instagram and was excited about a place that touted natural wines. Then I realized it was the re-vamped Hiro & quickly boomed ourselves a reservation. Set menu is €68/person for 3 courses. It was more spendy than we expected, but quality really met price here. It says they offer a la carte, but items are not individually priced, aside from the wine snacks.
