   Fun feastive atmosphere. Great appetizers and sushi choices. The asparagus wrapped in a thin piece of ribeye was fabulous! Tuna belly sashimi was mouth watering!

   We have been there before; the menu was straight-forward, although we found out that for the sushi plates, the miso soup is an extra charge.

   Food was amazing. Did a early dinner so not so busy 5:15, however took forever to get our food and appetizer, sushi and dinner came all at once. Saying that the food was absolutely fabulous and when we come back into town will go back. Just need to get their service together.

   Another fantastic experience at Sushi ROKU! Great ingredients at a reasonable cost. This visit I had the Chef’s tasting menu and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend!

   Sushi Roku in Newport Beach was the perfect spot to take my cousin visiting from college. The service was excellent, and the food was good! You can’t go wrong with any of the sushi rolls and the skewers the Seabass skewer and particular was delicious!!! The ambiance is versatile, accommodating both casual and upscale casual attire, making it a great choice for any occasion. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience

   I made a reservation at 9PM for dinner. We were a few minutes early. As soon as we checked in we were told it was last call. As we were walked to our table, I saw what looked like the shift manager tell the server “last call.” As soon as we were sat, the server said “are you ready to order, we just called last call.” While I understand it was late and everyone wanted to close, a few problems I found with this were: 1. Why allow me to make a dinner reservation at the same time as last call? Makes zero sense. 2. We weren’t even greeted. Literally explained that it was last call from 3 different people as soon as we sat down. 3. It’s super unprofessional for the shift manager to walk behind us and whisper to the server to essentially rush us and not think we would hear that. I come here often with my wife. The food was and is always on point. The server recognized us and was really nice. And we will honestly continue to come. But whoever was running the show at closing on 11/21, that wasn’t it.

    The food and service are amazing! The best part of our visits to Roku at Fashion Island is the welcome we receive from Juney the Manager. He makes one feel that he’s welcoming guests to his home with a warm greeting and a friendly chat. He’s always appreciative that we have come to Roku and makes one feel as if we’re part of his family. An amazing guy! His staff speak so highly of him and it’s clear that he’s created a great workplace environment to work. I recommend that when you’re in Newport Beach you visit Roku and see and taste for yourself!
