   It’s so much to be said about this restaurant, but everything was amazing from the food to the music the performers and the ambience. I definitely enjoyed my night there and all was well.  I had the fried chicken with the mac & cheese and collard greens and it was so seasoned and good. My husband had the grill trout with the green beans and mac & cheese and he loved it. He also had the moonshine which comes in different flavors but definitely the Ms. Celey’s was delicious. This is my fifth time being here and it’s a must go if you’re in Atlanta area.

   My wife and I along with another couple reserved our table at Sweet Georgia Juke Joint on a Saturday night. The place wasn’t crowded at all. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. It took a while for our waitress to take our orders but it really didn’t matter because the band was jamming and we were enjoying the vibe. The singer Havier Davion was performing and he was amazing. I will rate this place a 9.5 out of 10. Great spot to relax, eat and hear some great music.

   The concept is good, however the food was horrible. My whole table food was not seasoned well and cold. The live music was okay, but when talking you have to over talk the loud band and music.

   Server new not very aware of surroundings. Passed us up several times while trying to talk. No baked chicken, only fried. Weekend entertainment maybe a little better that one man band.

   I searched for a place on line to take my mom who is wheelchair assisted to Mother’s Day Brunch. My honest opinion of Georgia’s Juke Joint…made reservations; was seated immediately, took a minute to take our order, but once placed, the food didn’t take long to prepare and serve us. Our table had appetizer: fried green tomatoes, okra and onions with goat cheese and fried wings. Both were delicious!!! We also tried the beef short rib hash, pasta plate and fried chicken with sides (glazed sweet potato and Mac and cheese), no complaints; all were very delicious. Desert was chocolate cake a la mode. Very good. Now the live music-was the biggest hit. The band played goodies and oldies that my 83 year old mom enjoyed. Overall, when visiting ATL again, I’ll will revisit for the great experience!!!

   Poor. The front door host staff needs retraining. When we first entered, without a greeting he started listing rules like we were about to enter an adventure park not an upscale restaurant. Very odd list of who can sit, when we can sit, who will be charged, and when we would be charged. The food was cooked last night and it tasted as such. We received a microwaved version of what cooked have been a good meal. The fish came out dry and hard. The salmon cake tasted like the canned version with onions. The band played a 30-40 minutes set after starting late. The cocktail drink was watered down. My last sip consisted of water. Can’t go back as the food was not fresh.

   When I initially entered the building, I was a little disappointed. (Things never look like they do on line) But I really enjoyed the "live entertainment" and the food was "excellent. The staff, especially our waiter, was so friendly. Also, I was so glade they have "valet parking". Can't wait to go back again.

   Arrived for our reservation to learn there would be a $10 per person entertainment charge added to the bill, along with a 2hour max stay. This is not shown anywhere when making reservations for this spot that has live music “every evening.” The food was ok to good for most of us. That included grilled trout, Caesar salad with salmon, and sides and appetizers. The oxtails were just so so. Entree prices were reasonable. The live music was good, except that the band took a long break between sets (close to 30 min!), which left us listening to and viewing old music videos on the screens in the restaurant for pretty much our entire meal experience. Not the live music experience we expected, nor worth the entertainment fee. If you have a couple hours (max) to hang out and enjoy music and a meal (southern cuisine), this is a place to consider for generally good food and service.

    Had a reservation and had two additional guests join. It took over 20 min to be seated even tho the place only had four or five tables. Service was slow.
