Taberna de Haro serves the authentic cuisine of Spain, including tapas, entrees, sherry, and over 150 Spanish wines. The hospitality is warm and the food has integrity! Whether you choose a leisurely dinner with our famous Arroz Negro or a quick dish of Gambas al Ajillo at our bar, your senses will be gratified. Our open kitchen sends out seductive aromas of braised lamb, grilled fish, sautéed artichokes and griddled mushrooms - you will be transported to Spain! The Iberian ham is cut to order, the black paella is sultry, the eggs are free-range, the French fries are hand-cut, the octopus is perfectly cooked, and the anchovies are plump, and the exquisite, imported olive oil is downright drinkable. The wine list offers Spain"s most intriguing wines, and has won awards from The Wine Spectator, The World of Fine Wines, and The Wine Enthusiast as well as local awards.

Everything is always fresh and delicious! Food comes out quickly, wonderful wine menu to chose from- we went with a chilled red. The calamari and the olives are fantastic. And bread with every meal

Great experience at sherry tasting w/ Deborah Hansen, the former owner, who is an expert in Spanish sherries. Wonderful small tapas to accompany each of 6 sherries. The place was packed and a little too noisy to hear all her presentation. Wait staff were attentive and kind. Altogether super and we will go back for our own sherry tasting!

The team was very kind and attentive. They wished my husband a happy birthday at the door and through out the meal, they made us feel special. Food was authentic and the open kitchen is a great feature too. We will be back.

Was seated immediately even though we arrived a few minutes ahead of our reservation. Great table by the window. Everything we had was delicious and prepared well. Queso’s were traditional and sold. The bread surprisingly was NOT what we remembered from our time in Spain (traditional “pan” is very bland) but instead was a very good sourdough. Tortilla was exactas we remembered as was the ensalada mista - with just a touch of tuna and perfectly cooked soft/medium boiled egg on top. Gambas (shrimp) were cooked in a spicy garlic sauce - and they were maybe spiced a bit on the heavy side - but that’s personal preference. All in all a great location, great place, with great food and service. Will return.

Food was fantastic. Portions for the tapas were larger than expected. Service was very attentive. We sat inside but would have chosen outside if there were heaters - the outside looked so pretty. Will definitely be back!

Ownership has changed, quality has not. It was our first visit since the new owners took over, and it was phenomenal. Delicious tapas dishes, beautiful service (I can say better than ever) and delicious red wine, which I researched in Vivino and found to be little more than retail, unlike the price-gouging on wine in most restaurants. We just got home two hours ago, and are still celebrating a great night.
