   A delightful first experience! We’ve been meaning to check this place out for years. I knew the Lawrys Prime Rib would deliver, and the restaurant itself was a gem. Service was on point, thanks Tweedy! If I’m being hyper critical, the Moscow Mule and Yorkshire Pudding weren’t exceptional, but would probably get them again. I hope next time to have lunch at the bar, to see it from that side. 2025 has started nicely!

   The best prime rib dinner we've had in like forever! Thick and juicy, medium rare was the best and not over salted or fatty. We had the creamed corn, spinach, mashed potatoes, gravy and the Yorkshire Pudding. We started with the wedge salad with roquefort dressing with big chunks of bacon. We had creme brûlée for dessert and the hot fudge sundae. We loved Tam O' Shanter and will return again to celebrate!!! The waiters were very observant and knew when we needed ice tea refills, attended to our needs and were friendly and respectful. Ambience was quiet, intimate, low key, we went there in the early afternoon so it was quiet. We definitely will go back and highly recommend this place with the best food, ambience, staff and plenty of parking.

   This restaurant is a poor man's diner with rich man's prices—horrible service in all aspects of the restaurant. The quality of the food was inferior. I made reservations over a month ago for indoor sitting. We were seated outdoors on plastic chairs and a plastic table on a nice cold day. Our servicer showed up 45 minutes later. I had to go to the front and ask for our waiter. Drinks (not all the drinks) were served 30 minutes after placing the initial order. It took another 20 minutes to receive the missing drinks. The dinner arrived much later. The food was cold and not prepared correctly. An additional drink, ordered during the main course, was served after the dessert. Water glasses were a forgotten concept. I had to get up several times and ask the busboy to serve water. The dress code "Business Casual" is a big fat lie. Don't waste your money in this place.

   The food was really delicious on our most recent visit - loved the salmon, creamed corn, and mashed potatoes! The Victorian carolers are always a highlight for the season. My only wee criticism is that there are empty tables and they always seat us crammed in a corner with other tables (and don't allow us to adjust a reservation by one person.) Also, it is very expensive. Overall, I love it and always come back!
