   It was a pretty packed Thanksgiving night. Our wait was minimal, 5-7 minutes at best, the we were seated. We were greeted soon by a professional, pleasant, and courteous server, who helped us with corkage, water, and napkins, as well as (later) pointing meat servers our way. Corkage fee was $20, quite reasonable. Our child under 12 got 50% discount. The salad bar consisted of a wide selection of greens and salads, sliced ham/salami, smoked salmon, as well as capers, heart of palms, grilled bell peppers, garlic in oil, chili in oil. There was also hot items such as lobster bisque, turkey (with a side of cranberry sauce), rice, and potate au gratin. The meat selection was awesome, sumptuous, and of high-quality meat. We tried filet and filet in bacon; sirloins of regular, spice, and spicy flavors; leg of lamb; parmesan pork and parmesan chicken, and sausages. Part way through, the server brought cheese balls, mashed potatoes, and fried plaintains for us to share. At the end, there were many desserts choices to choose from; but, we could only pick two to share among six people. Between the wine, the delicious meat, the side dishes, and the pleasant conversation of thanks, we had a really fantastic Thanksgiving at Texas de Brazil. Our true appreciation to the servers who sacrificed Thanksgiving with family so we could have ours eating out. Thank you!

   Only complaint I have is the hostess stand. We checked in on time with the manager. He said there is a couple of people ahead of you. I said no worries,we will sit over here( 2 seats next to the door). There was a lot of people at the front. We waited 20 mins. I kept checking my phone as well. I went to the bathroom and came back and checked my phone and it said missed call from the restaurant. We went to the host stand and I said hi, I just got a missed call from you. She said oh I marked you as no show. I'm like what? I've been sitting here for 25 mins at this point now. She was kind of snotty and said I called your name I texted you and called. Well, I heard her say Jessica, I heard her say Ashley but she did not say Audry. She did not text me and I did miss the phone call cause I was in the bathroom but went to the hostess desk 1 1/2 mins after the phone call. Mind you the seats are maybe 5 feet from the host stand. It just didn't sit right with me. No need to blame me for your mistake

   This place is always hit or miss. When it’s a hit, it’s enjoyable. Unfortunately my most recent visit was a total miss. The manager seemed unprepared for the volume on Thanksgiving, even though I’m sure everyone there had made a reservation so there’s no excuse to not have the appropriate amount of meat ready to go. There were multiple stretches of 15 minutes when not a single Gaucho was on the floor. We would feast for three minutes and then nothing again for 15 or more. The quality of their Gauchos is way down. Multiple times they would serve one end of our table and then walk away to a completely different table. Our server was not hustling but rather sort of drifting around very non-chalantly. She refilled our waters one time over the course of an hour. Half of our meat was well done and one time we were given meat that was literally raw. This visit put a sour taste in our mouths and I highly doubt I’ll be back again.

   Way overpriced for the taste. Also every single bite of meat except the chicken was so hard to chew and full of gristle. There were 4 of us, my youngest is 14 with autism and only ate a few bites but still had to be charged full price which I understand but for $315 I would hope there were at least some more kid friendly options like plain chicken and Mac n cheese at the salad bar. Not great. Went Thanksgiving and didn’t see any fun Thanksgiving food either. Bummer

   The salad bar was exceptional. The service was excellent and the meat never stopped coming. It was absolutely delicious. I have never been disappointed coming here.

    One of our favorite places, but the meat was a little off. Either raw or way overcooked. It was a Steeler game day and they were very busy. Salad bar was fresh. Service was great.
