   Asking for well done will get you nowhere. I understand the mindset is medium rare is best and that is the way I like it. However 2 in my party prefer well done and we politely let the waiter know when he asked. Only twice was the meat brought out well done. The person requesting asked then I asked. They came around again and said yes it’s well done and cut a large slice of medium rare sirloin. Other places we’ve been to will remember it has been requested and bring various cuts by frequently. The sides were a bit lackluster. The restaurant did in a pinch as we were already downtown but I don’t think we’d go out of our way to dine again. Our waiter was prompt with drink refills and we did not have to wait or ask him for drinks

   The waiter took care of larger crowds. The servers serving the proteins missed us several times. The manager was rude when he pointed out the server severing the protein.

   Employees at the check in stand were not very friendly said “hello how are you” and didn’t get an answer back from any of the three employees that were up there. Our server on the other hand was top notch, he gave me and my family exceptional service.

   Went for Christmas lunch like we do every year. This time we barely saw the gauchos and sometimes it even seemed as though they just skipped us completely. Server finally came by and asked if we were done. I replied with “I’m waiting for some steak. He then immediately started clearing our table. What few pieces we did get were cold. Another family member that went today as well had the same experience. Don’t know if it was an isolated incident but can’t ever take the chance of ruining Christmas again. Spent $250 for 5 people, two of which were just eating the salad bar. Food was probably worth $100-$150. Will not be back, going to Chama Gaucha next year on Christmas Eve so Texas De Brazil can’t ruin our holiday meal . I know this sounds like I’m being brutal, but I hope they see this and improve. Don’t like seeing a good place go downhill. Such a shame.

   They check us in but never called us for 30 minutes. Went back up and the lady couldn’t find our reservation anymore and told us it would be another 20 minutes. When they were ready to seat us they had already sat another couple at the table so we had to wait again for another 20 minutes. Once we were seated the food was great and the waitress was very nice.

    Waiter would not listen and bring different things that’s were asked for. He took our order wrong and poor communication between manager and waiter. Multiple people telling me different things or options it came to ordering. Food was over all good. I have had much better experiences at this restaurant before.
