(We unfortunately cannot reserve our terrace tables, any bookings will have a table reserved inside although guests are more than welcome to sit at a table on our riverside terrace if one is available upon arrival)

Set on the bank of the beautiful river Cam in the historic city of Cambridge, The Anchor pub, dining room & river terrace is a stone’s throw away from the world famous Queens college & its stunning Mathematical Bridge.

We serve fresh seasonal food using locally sourced ingredients, cask conditioned real ales, craft beers, wines from a carefully chosen innovative wine list. We provide friendly knowledgeable & relaxed service in picturesque surroundings.

    Fantastic restaurant Service was excellent and all the staff were extremely friendly A stunning location overlooking the river Food was stunning and all arrived in very good time. Will definitely be returning

    Visited with friends for Sunday lunch. The food was very good, both in terms of quality and value for money. The staff there are always friendly and attentive. We’ve used the Anchor before and will definitely return.
