   We had diner at The Black Bull on our first night in Edinburgh..and lunch on the last day we were there. Both were amazing! Really good food. Friendly staff Great 'pub feel' Absolutely reccomend it!!

   Great atmosphere and the food is always great here the chicken nachos & Mac n cheese loaded fries are a must when you visit! Can also watch the rugby football ect so its a win win!!

   The staff couldn't have been any more helpful if they tried, nothing was a bother to them at all. Food waa great also. We went when it was actually a quiet night midweek before the football came on the tele but it was still worth a visit.

   We loved this pub! The fish and chips were great. We weren't crazy about ordering at the bar but the wait staff was friendly and courteous. They did forget to bring part of our order but corrected it fairly quickly. Promptly at 7:00 pm the volume of the music went up dramatically, being a bit loud for us but over all we loved the place.

   Very friendly staff. Good selection of drinks. Food was tasty, good value pub grub. It wasn’t too busy as we were there on a Sunday teatime. Would definitely use The Black Bull again when in Edinburgh.
