Gather at the Blue Pig Tavern, our distinctive restaurant tucked in the corner of Congress Hall. Known for hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites, its name derives from a gambling parlor sited in Congress Hall in the mid-1800s. Earlier still, in the 1700s, Elias Hughes operated a tavern for whalers on this site. It was the first tavern in Cape May. Today, we offer timeless classics and new seasonal delights with ingredients that are always farm-fresh.

    Food was wonderful. You can tell they use only the freshest of ingredients. I want to go back to try more items on the menu Service was slow. No water refills. But given the time of day (very end of lunch crowd) we let it slide.

    We walked in as we always do and were told no seats for 2 unless reservation. So we walked out.. made reservation on app and saw that 10 tables were open. Why would you turn people away if you had 10 tables not filled .. there were not a lot in there at 12. We’ve been there many times as we’re local in the marina. The young girls running hostess section need to be trained . Our waitress was very good.. and food is always great!

    We had brunch with friends. The food was delicious and well prepared. William, our server, was really good. Great combination of making sure we had everything we needed, without being annoying. He is definitely an asset to your dining room!

    Food and atmosphere water great. Very festive. Service ruined it. The waitress was nor attentive. We never saw her. Long time for food to come. Room was also very cold

    The soup was cold, which was disappointing, especially on a chilly day when I was looking forward to something warm. The French fries were also cold. However, the service was good.
