Enjoy the stunning floral display gardens, plus the restaurant's historic surroundings and contemporary, fresh local foods. Located in the original Butchart family residence, you can experience spectacular views of the Private Garden, the Italian Garden and Tod Inlet. Indulge in Afternoon Tea in our Spring and Summer seasons, or our High Tea which offers more warm savories from October through the winter months. Dinner is served seasonally with a strong presence of local sustainable ingredients. Choose from our award winning showcase of Vancouver Island wines. Enjoy adding to your awareness and appreciation of local grapes and vintners. Please note that admission to The Butchart Gardens is required in order to access The Dining Room Restaurant. Our current admission rates are at www.butchartgardens.com

                              My 10 year old granddaughter and I enjoyed ‘High Tea’ this afternoon. How delightful! The children’s high tea menu was a perfect size and we chatted about each delicate flavour through all levels. My single adult high tea was equally scrumptious. And…. you have to love to environment. We finished the afternoon with a carousel 🎠 ride. Memories are made of this kind of afternoon. Thank you Butchart !

                              This was my first Tea experience at The Butchart Gardens. We really enjoyed it. Our server and porter were great! The food was explained very well. We couldn't finish everything but they had to go boxes. the sandwiches and savory items had unique flavours but we enjoyed them all. We would go back again for High Tea!

                              I celebrated a monumental birthday with high tea at Butchart Gardens. The server and kitchen were all very knowledgeable and accommodating for my food allergies (gluten, nuts, and seeds). Everything was great

                              To have high tea that's gluten-free is such a treat. The pastries, squares as well as mini sandwiches were delicious. So fresh and tasty. I definitely will be returning!
