Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     I’d like to start off by saying that our server Koy was absolutely amazing. Although this is considered fine-dining the ambience does not exude that and while I believe steaks are their specialty; I would hope they would put the same effort into their other dishes. I ordered the Scallop with Lobster Risotto and was not impressed—especially at $60. There wasn’t a proper sear on the scallops, you could count the pieces of chopped lobster meat hidden within the risotto, and the risotto itself was not creamy (on certain bites was even crunchy). The appetizers, dessert, and drinks were very good and are the highlight of the night. The care they put into their customer service and attentive staff partially makes up for the rest but I will hold off a firm judgement until another visit.
