Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Our family has always celebrated our birthdays, and major celebrations at The Capital Grille. It seems to me the quality and preparation of their steaks have changed. The tenders and ease of the cut is not there. We have been to both Capitol Grilles in Phoenix Metropolitan. I have been very disappointed. The cheese cake has always been a wonderful treat and it is still good, the crust is different, it’s hard, not flaky, anymore. The cheese cake is not rich and the texture is different. These are just my observations. The service and ambience is top notch every time. I guess that’s why we keep returning.

    Our experience here was amazing. The service and our food was outstanding. I really think this restaurant is one of the top restaurants in Scottsdale. They also accommodated us on short notice for a reservation on Christmas Eve. We will be back.

    This is the first dinner at CG where I came away disappointed with the overall experience. The food was great, as usual, the service above average, the room was noisy (it is holiday season) and my wife, son and I mostly enjoyed ourselves. I had mentioned that we were celebrating our son's birthday and during past dinners the CG would bring out a complimentary dessert....NOTHING this time...they did decorate the table and give him a card (appreciated). Lot's of new/unknown staff and I think the general manager is new. A fellow in a suit came around and asked how dinner was...didn't introduce himself. I think we already miss Brian!!
