Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     This is “the place” to eat in DC - amidst the power brokers of industry & government -the atmosphere is clubby and the service impeccable. The steaks are absolutely delicious cooked to perfection and accompanied by delectable sides, like their signature creamed spinach. The Boston Clam Chowder was simply the best I’ve ever had and my filet was tender and really scrumptious

    We celebrated our anniversary tonight, and Wayne, our server, was excellent. The restaurant was packed tonight, and the food and drink arrived on time. Everything was cooked perfectly, and we were surprised with a sprinkle of hearts on the table and dessert. Thanks, Capital Grill Family!

    Food and wine were top notch and Eric was attentive at the right cadence and provided excellent service and recommendations. The restaurant was extremely busy with an energetic buzz, and we were still able to have a conversation at our table. This is definitely a restaurant choice to put on the top of your list.     One steak poorly cooked, one filet expertly cooked. Appetizer we picked, not the best mozzarella. Ambience ok if you like taxidermy on the walls. Lively and loud ambience.

    Best steaks hands down. Lobster as well as shrimp cocktail was phenomenal. The shrimp are giant and the cocktail sauce is perfect- not too spicy, and definitely not bland at all. Would highly recommend for a date night for a special occasion or even just a regular date night.
