BEHIND EVERY GREAT SEAFOOD RESTAURANT IS A WAREHOUSE STOCKED WITH FRESH SEAFOOD.
The Fishery Restaurant & Market is located just a few blocks from the ocean in North Pacific Beach.
The restaurant menu reflects ‘coastal cuisine’ with a simple yet serious focus on the best our coastal fisheries and local farms have to offer. The passion that drives Chef Mike Reidy is evidenced by flavors that can only be achieved using ingredients at their peak of seasonality and freshness.
The Fishery was awarded the prestigious Award of Excellence for its Wine List from Wine Spectator in 2018- Present. Our wine list is inspired by the great wines of Europe and their American counterparts and we strive to showcase real, natural, food friendly-wines with a sense of place.

The Fishery Market showcases fresh fish, prepared seafood, salads, sauces and marinades.

    Ate there for lunch. The mock tail was delicious and unusual. Best mussels I have ever eaten. The green curry sauce required more bread for dipping as we could not let it go to waste. Shrimp tacos were fresh and filling. I wish I lived closer to the restaurant. It would be our go to place for seafood. Service was friendly, helpful, and responsive. Just a great place to eat.

    One of the best restaurants, with the most interesting menu options that we’ve eaten at. Delicious food. Super fresh fish. (Duh! The Fishery.) A wide range of tastes. Excellent service.

    This place is an absolute gem. I read all the reviews for a few years and finally decided to make the journey from Carlsbad down. Our wonderful waiter greeted us with a huge smile and gave us an outstanding experience. I booked for my birthday and was given calamari on the house. No one ever goes above and beyond. I’ve told 6 friends - and everyone wants to go! Thank you again. The food was incredible but the people were even better.

    Exceptional service, always the freshest fish & charming ambiance; we both had specials: sand dabs sautéed in butter, and a huge piece of fried albacore with thick, crunchy breading with a butter-caper sauce. Both cooked & seasoned to perfection! Can't wait to return-
