   It was just too busy - the restaurant was packed out due to Mothering Sunday Usually the food there is excellent but on this occasion, there was no taste to the meat or vegetables. The gravy smacked of Bisto. The staff struggled to keep everyone happy Next year, please get in a better chef & maybe reduce the number of tables The pricing was expensive for poor bland food

The specific table requested had already been allocated to a larger group, and while we do our best to meet all requests, it’s not always possible at peak times.    Fantastic food service and value for money,the only thing I don’t like in any restaurant is putting a service charge on the bill.i think it should be left to the customer if they want to leave a tip.

   Regular customer, The Fountain never disappoints. Fantastic and friendly service and food is superb! The whole team do a great job and that's why this place is always busy. Battered prawn starter is the best!!!

   Excellent foot, great service. Portion was too big for me but they happily packed up leftovers that big took home for later. Highly recommend 👌
