Prime rib was tough, cooked incorrectly and full of fat. “Seasonal vegetable” were little slivers of fried onion. Restaurant is super loud, restaurant seemed to be understaffed.                                                                                             The food was amazing, well worth the price! The waiter was very prompt and courteous, that is after he realized we were in his section. The reason for not giving 5 stars was because our reservation was for 5pm, when we showed up, we had to wait about 15 min, then after being seated, we waited at least 20 minutes before anyone even offered us a menu or drinks. I know it was busy, but with a place as wonderful as I remember, (we've been here before, multiple times) this time it was almost 45 minutes before we even had our orders taken. The ambiance, food, and wine, they were all great, but for us, and the couple behind us, we were forced to wait longer than usual, which has never happened in my recollection.

                                                                                            I will preface my review today by sharing that we have dined at the Lynnwood Keg for over 15 years and have always enjoyed the food. We have never had an issue with the quality or taste of the food ordered until tonight. My filet was returned because it wasn’t cooked to the temperature that I requested. Our waitress was quick to return it to be cooked longer but when it came back, it was unevenly cooked with a large potion of the filet being cooked to well done and only the very center being medium. The steak was very tough especially considering the cut of beef and it had absolutely no flavor . In addition, to the steak preparation , we were charged for a salad that was inclusive to the meal. Of course, the charge was reversed from our credit card once we pointed out the over charge but the combination of errors made for an unfavorable visit today. For us, the uncertainty of knowing the quality of the food we will receive, will make us think twice before driving the 30+ miles to dine there.

                                                                                            The service is always top notch when my wife and I dine here. They take good care of their quests and always strive to make your dinning experience one to remember. This is our "Special Dinner with no kids" place, but there are families with small children but they are kept busy and do not interfere with the overall dining experience.
