The idea for The Kitchen came from a vision of a restaurant that would provide something different - a refined, yet casual establishment that would provide modern cuisine with a comforting twist. The cuisine at The Kitchen embraces Asian influence and ingredients including the freshest fish, meats and seasonal vegetables. The presentation is clean, simple, natural and uncomplicated. The beautiful and elegant architecture of the building mirrors the contemporary concepts in the food.     Rob did a great job serving us and all our meals were exceptional. The pork chop was the biggest hit as well as the deserts. We loved it!

    We twice requested the back table for the 8 of us - to no avail - disappointing as we live in Jackson and come regularly.

    Love this place!! The food is fantastic!! Love the hamachi appetizer, spicy mushroom ramen and the pork chop! They have a special Japanese grill which cooks the meant over coals to perfection!! The atmosphere and style of the restaurant is lovely too. Service was fantastic as well! Highly recommend!

    Great ambience and staff, and really good food if you like spices. It seems there was spice on everything. Even the kids burger was coated in black pepper, and the fries on the side also has some spice on them. They kindly gave us a plain plate of fries on the house when we ask though, so great service indeed!

    My husband has the pork chop and I had the baby kale salad. Both amazing! The staff was great and the restaurant had an overall cool vibe.

    What a wonderful evening. Christmas Eve 2024. Staff were happy. Food was awesome. Go for the mushroom toast!!! And the Baby Kale Salad
