   This charming farm to table restaurant has incredible food, informed & engaged servers and a tremendous environment. We enjoyed our evening in a calm space.

   First time dining in Asheville and The Market Place was a great choice. Excellent and friendly service and great food. It was a very enjoyable evening.

   Every dish we had was delicious and expertly prepared. It looked as amazing as it tasted. The service was spot on from hostess, servers, bartender and waiter. We look forward to retuning.

   Food was good. Restaurant was almost empty at 6:45. It was the end of February. Always feels better with more people. Would return

   We stay in downtown Asheville once or twice a year and somehow have never been here. That was a mistake. We had a great meal—thanks.

   We loved everything about the marketplace. My husband and I had the restaurant week special. He had the steak and beet salad and cheesecake. I had the pasta French onion, soup and cheesecake. My daughter had the lamb and the cauliflower small plate. We loved every bit of our meal the beet salad was so delicious. Great smoky flavor. My daughter said the lamb was the best she ever had. And the cheesecake. Was not too sweet with a shortbread crust. We definitely will be back. The wait staff were very attentive and very helpful in answering any questions we had . This was an excellent dining experience.
