   Had a great time with the family yesterday. The food was great and it was also my husband’s birthday and the staff did a lovely surprise for him. The fry on the fish is perfect and love the tartare sauce 😋

   fantastic chips and fish! this is high quality cod! crispy! tasty. really deserves the price which is perhaps a bit high. been here before and come back time and time again to enjoy fish and chips.

   Very confusing service regarding gluten free dining. Manager at first said he'd be taking my order, then at least 3 members of staff each approached us to take our order. Felt like more staff than customers. Unclear explanation of separate fryer. Fish tasted lovely! Lost confidence on whether chips were from the correct fryer so didn't eat them. Odd experience overall.

   I was disappointed with the restaurant’s signature dish, fish and chips. The fish was good, but the chips were too hard to eat. The waiter mentioned that they had been cooked early in the morning, which made them tough. Most diners around us also left their chips, just as we did. To avoid wasting your money, I recommend ordering only the fish at this restaurant.

    We had a delicious dinner and everything we expected. The batter on the fish was awesome. The only thing I would say is, although the presentation of the dish is beautiful, I would suggest laying the fish more to the side of the “chips” instead of directly on top. The heat of the fish made the chips less crisp and somewhat soggy. No one likes uncrisp chips.
