   Had an enjoyable time, unfortunately my wife’s food tasted really charred and it overwhelmed the flavour of the dish. I had the same one and it tasted much better. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their dish, but the evening was for my wife so a bit of a letdown.

   Absolutely fantastic. Great sever. Great food. Extremely busy. And got way too noisy. Would like to go back on a quieter night. Would recommend. First time there and we will look for a quieter time to try it again.

   Really great ingredients prepared well and in a beautiful setting. The service was also incredible.. If you’re coming from the Alt hotel there’s a Moroccan-style door off the lobby you can used to enter the restaurant.

   We went to Merchant Kitchen for Valentine’s Day, and had a great time. The food was unreal, and the service was great.

   It was our first time here it we have been wanting to check it out for a while. The Dan Dan Noodles were delicious and spicy though they arrived at our table lukewarm. The Carnitas were fantastic with great toppings and a good flavour. Our server was good but could have been a bit more attentive, as she rushed away before our entire table could order drinks. It was a nice atmosphere and we are eager to try more items on the menu.

   Confirms Winnipeg’s status as a foodie town. The Mexican street corn was particularly good. A really enjoyable evening.

    Overall a great vibe and knowledgeable staff. Food was mostly good with exception of slightly undercooked Dan Dan noodles. Quick service.
