The Merchant Kitchen is an idea conceptualized by travel and adventure. Honouring the traditional ingredients, flavours, and techniques of Asia and Latin America, while incorporating the freshest local ingredients possible is our mantra.

Exploring cities and towns along the equator, tasting their food carts, and visiting the local markets have allowed us to bring that to the table an experience that enables guests to escape routine and enjoy flavours with friends and family.

    The food was fabulous tonight. The oysters fresh and tasty. The Big Eye Tuna was delightful. The salad crisp and flavourful. Carnitas taco melted so beautifully on our palates. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Thank you!

    Date night. Great friendly service. We had tickets to a show and were very accommodating to our schedule. Ordered the Dan-Dan. Great dish. Good local craft beer.

    My friends and I regularly visit the Merchant Kitchen prior to Jets games. Last night I had a visitor in from Columbia. I raved about the Korean Fried Chicken to him, however, when we received the Kitchen it was overdone and dry, not juicy like it usually is. I probably should have sent it back but we thought we might not get a new order prior to when we had to leave for the game. The Dandan Noodles were excellent as usual as was the Tempura Shrimp.

    The price of the food is far too much for the amount of food you are given. It is extremely loud in the restaurant before a Nets game and there are far too many tables squished into the back room to be a pleasant atmosphere.
