   We invited friends for Sunday lunch. Thetford was very nice and the service was great. Apart from 1 coffee, I did arrive a bit late. They apologised and we did not have any problems. Thanks, we definitely will come back

   We were celebrating a joint family birthday and I had travelled from Sussex to come to the Olde Dog for the first time. We all had roast dinners which were absolutely delicious but could have been served a bit warmer. The starters were very good, crispy prawns and whitebait. The whitebait were plump and cooked perfectly with a lovely crisp coating. The pork crackling was excellent and all the vegetables were cooked really well. The pub was very cold but the staff explained about the issues with the boiler and alternative heaters were provided and it did warm up eventually. I look forward to coming back again! Thank you.
