Ate at the bar, no reservation needed, faster service. Rudy provided great service . Get the shrimp bisque. Eat the coconut cream pie! If we go back I will get the shrimp bisque, a salad and the coconut cream pie! A perfect meal.

My roast duck had delicious flavor but was overcooked. I had trouble cutting with the knife. Wife's fish was also overcooked. Service was excellent.

There were 8 of us and the Revellion menu had something for us all. Not one of the group was dissatisfied with any part of the meal. Two meals of particular brilliance were the chopping and the roasted duck. The ciopino was all Louisiana in style and in flavor. The roasted duck in a grape blueberry confit was genius and easily the best game bird I ever tasted. An honorable mention and very honorable indeed was the pork chop which was thick delicious and tender. Randy provided an excellent night of service, knowledgeable and attentive. A very professionable waiter.

I loved the ambience- a lively environment but not too loud; the server seemed a bit hurried, and we had unanswered questions. And if we were supposed to get a complimentary eggnog, it was never offered. The crabmeat ravigote was delicious - I could have eaten two: the fried flounder was good but it was swimming in insipid sauce that overwhelmed the delicate taste of flounder. My husband seemed to like his quail and the cioppini was enjoyed by my friend. My coconut cream pie was fair.

This is a nice, upscale restaurant. Due to our party size of 9, we had to fill out paperwork prior to going and agree to a minimum of $85 per person. The food was excellent and fresh, we were a little disappointed in the service - no exceptions or substitutions to the menu could be made, not even with an up charge. The waiter also mixed up our entrees, so we had to figure out who got what steak based on degrees of wellness, etc. They also would not let us split checks based on what each party got, we had to split it 3 ways evenly, then Venmo each other later. For an upscale restaurant, these issues should be addressed, especially since there are tons of options in NOLA. The restaurant is in a centrally located cozy alley. The decor and ambiance was nice and I enjoyed the bench seats. They also had a nice selection of wines, port wines and cocktails. Overall, our group will probably not go back, but it was fun to try someplace new.
