First time to the Plimoth. Sat at the bar and enjoyed 4 small plates - salad, porchetta, pasta and chicken. Each was delectable. Engaging bartender. Will definitely be back.

The Plimoth is a true gem in Denver’s vibrant food scene. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a warm, intimate ambiance that feels both upscale and approachable. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about their craft, making the experience feel personal and special. The menu is a masterpiece of creativity, offering dishes that blend familiar comfort with unexpected twists. Each plate is beautifully presented, almost too stunning to eat—but once you do, you’ll be glad you did. The flavors are complex and perfectly balanced, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients. A standout for me was the Seared Hokkaido scallops, saffron paella cakes, smoked roe, bacon glazed squash, celeriac velouté, frisée. The layers of flavor and texture were simply unforgettable. Pair that with a glass from their thoughtfully curated wine list, and you’re in for a treat. If you’re looking for a restaurant that embodies culinary artistry and impeccable service, The Plimoth should be at the top of your list. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their inspired

We have dined several times at the plimoth since about 2015 or so and this visit did not live up to our usual experience. It was particularly disappointing since we were celebrating a 60th birthday in our party of 4. The restaurant offered complimentary glasses of sparkling wine to start the celebration but then the server seemed annoyed when we asked her to take a photo (had to ask 3 different times and then cut one of our party out of the photo). Other than not including the bacon glaze on the side of squash in the 2 scallop entrees, the photo was our only special request of the evening. We had 3 starters (salad, cauliflower turnip gratinée, scalloped potatoes with mussels), 4 entrees (gnocchi, venison rack, and 2 scallops), 2 beers, 2 glasses of wine, and a cocktail. I asked for a vodka martini and the server said “do you want vermouth or do you want it dry”? I was a little confused because dry vermouth is part of a martini so I said I would like vermouth. I am pretty sure the bartender made my martini with sweet vermouth. I drank it anyway but it definitely had a sweetness to it. The vegetarian gnocchi dish was a little bizarre- there were 3 hockey puck-size mounds of what seemed to be more mashed potato than dumpling/gnocchi. Overall the ~$400 tab (included 20% tip) seemed high for food that was good but just not as special as past experiences.

Lovely farm-to-table restaurant with neighborhood feel and amazing food. We went for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. We shared the Hasselback sweet potato starter, I had the gnocchi (vegetarian) main course and my husband had the grilled venison rack. He finished up with the creme brûlée. Wish there were more vegetarian options for main course. Service was great (without being overly attentive) and we look forward to going back!!
