The food was great as usual, but our service was pretty horrible. We felt basically ignored throughout the meal. Very slow service compared to the tables around us.

Yet another five star dinner at the Quarter Bistro! From the music, fresh flowers, candle light, linen tablecloths and lovely decor to the amazing food and service, The Quarter Bistro is by far one of Cincinnati’s top restaurants. Carolyn, our server, was charming and ensured that we were well taken care of. The chef stopped by our table to ask how our meals were and the staff ensured that our food was delivered in a timely manner and the table was quickly cleared after each course. We ordered the tuna tartare appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. The perfect size for two people. I ordered the Ruby Red Trout with porcini risotto and my husband ordered the crab encrusted snapper special. Both were incredible! The French white Bordeaux wine paired beautifully with both entrees. For dessert we shared the decant chocolate flourless cake which will make any chocolate lover swoon! A perfect evening that we both look forward to repeating in the very near future.

Quarter Bistro is one of our favorite neighborhood gem restaurants in Greater Cincinnati. The cuisine is always excellent, and in particular the chef's specials are always superb. I had the Halbut special which was amazing over a mushroom risotto. My wife had the salmon which the chef has recently created a new and delicious recipe. The bacon bean soup last night may have been the best bean soup I've ever had. I've heard the chef is not overly fond of preparing soups, yet every bowl we've ever had there is as good or better than most 5 star restaurants we've experienced. Service is always 5 star quality also!
